The TCM is integrated into the mechatronic assembly , the TCM will need to be  reflashed / reprogramed to the latest level calibration available . No amount of driving to relearn the electronic control system will resolve the issues . It's highly recommended to always FLASH / REPROGAM all of the Ford CVT equipped vehicles after a major mechanical repair or after replacing the valve body Mechatronic assembly to achive the best drivability and longevity experience
